Strategic Economics seeks to fill the following position:
Research Analyst
Under the direction of senior staff, the Research Analyst will work on a variety of tasks including creating maps in ArcGIS and Adobe Illustrator, analyzing demographic and employment data, collecting and analyzing real estate market data, and conducting case studies.
We invite candidates with solid analytical and mapping skills, background and interest in regional and local planning and economic development, and a desire to manage data to apply. The applicant must be comfortable working with numbers and have a desire to learn more about economic analysis, as well as demonstrated GIS skills. The following experience and skills are required:
· An undergraduate degree in city planning, geography, public policy, or other related field
· Strong proficiency with ArcGIS
· Strong proficiency with Excel and database management
· Excellent research and communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Knowledge of PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite
· Familiarity with basic statistical analysis

The position is full-time and available immediately.
