Malia Wing concentrates on housing policy and equitable approaches to planning and development. She has a background in comprehensive plan evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and spatial analysis. Malia’s work integrates community input, local condition assessments, and best practices to inform policy and investment recommendations. At Strategic Economics, she supports a range of projects including preparing existing conditions reports, real estate market assessments, policy recommendations, and economic impact studies.

Malia holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Washington, where she earned a certificate in Housing Studies. She also holds a Master of Education from Lipscomb University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Texas Christian University
